Need to design a bedroom for my teen daughter?

We are planning to buy a house, but for the next couple of years we will continue to live in our apartment. She doesn't like shelves, only cabinets with doors. It has to be a simple "study" type room but with a chic Twin Bed that has storage drawers. She likes a darker gothic/medieval theme. Please suggest a color for walls and simple pieces of furniture (bed, small nightstand, large desk, possibly cabinets, a mirror that can be put on the back of a door, desk chair, lamp, and a very short, small chest that will fit in her closet)
When we move into a house, I will let her have the two smallest bedrooms (which will be next to each other) and connect them through a large window/ hole in the wall that separates them. She loves the idea of zen and meditation but with a dark edge.

i would paint her walls black and white(or other color)such as teal or blue or yellow, one wall black on white

if her room is going to be small furniture wise i would say you used get those beds that have a desk on the bottom.
