What mouthpiece would be found on a 1977 King 3B Trombone?

I just got a beautiful 1977 King 3B in perfect condition with the case and everything.. except the original mouthpiece. Does anyone know what kind of MP would come with this horn and where I could find one? Thanks!

Any King musical instrument would have originally been supplied with a King mouthpiece. However, this really isn't very relevant.

If you're going to play this instrument, you need to find a trombone mouthpiece that is the right one for you, in combination with this particular instrument and your unique embouchure. With my own King 3B, I prefer a Bach 6 1/2 AL mouthpiece, but you need to try as many different mouthpieces as possible and select the one that gives you the best tone and best range.

If you're going to sell this instrument, any serious buyer will already know what mouthpiece they prefer, so you may want to consider selling it without a mouthpiece. The presence or absence of a mouthpiece with an instrument of this age and quality will have no significant effect on your selling price.
