traverse rods, how to put drapes on them?
so for my apartment the landlord already set up the traverse rod, and i'm trying to figure out how to hang drapes on them, because i cant open it and the drapes cant go through the rod, is there a special curtain or drapes for this type of rod, or am i doing something wrong, tried looking up in yahoo but cant find anything on how to put drapes on these rods...

Just to be sure we are talking about the same thing, these types of rods have little plastic pieces in the back of the rod - with holes in them?
If that is what you have, you need to get curtains, and curtain hooks. The curtain hooks go into the slots on the back of the curtains, and then get inserted in the holes in the plastic pieces. Visit a store to see these in action!
